At ATP we're accustomed to doing high-profile work for Hong Kong's top companies, something we love to share with potential clients. What we're not used to, however, is our clients going out of their way to highlight the value we bring to their projects.

This video, produced by MTR Corporation, highlights the preservation work ATP recently performed on the legendary wall trees of Forbes Street in Kennedy Town on Hong Kong Island. Our work was an integral part of the tree preservation work for MTR's planned West Island Line.

Like many Hong Kongers, we're excited to see MTR services expand beyond Sheung Wan with the addition of new stations at Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong University and Kennedy Town.

This map illustrates the position of the West Island Line stations - which will be operational beginning in 2014 - relative to the existing Island Line. The numbers indicate the travel time (in minutes) between different stations. In addition to making life easier for countless residents and visitors, the West Island Line is a big step toward MTR's ultimate goal of encircling Hong Kong Island with efficient and inexpensive rail service for all.

The historic wall trees of Forbes Street not only add beauty for the thousands of people passing by every day, they also further stabilise the stone walls that were erected before the Second World War to prevent hazardous landslides.

ATP is honored to have been entrusted by MTR Corporation with the important work of preserving these historic trees for generations to come. We salute MTR's commitment to building a world-class transport network that integrates seamlessly with the city's heritage.
